Comment invited on Walpole Wilderness Management Plan proposed amendment

A proposed amendment of the Walpole Wilderness and Adjacent Parks and Reserves Management Plan 2008 is now available for public comment.

It has been prepared on behalf of the Conservation and Parks Commission by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA), in accordance with the Conservation and Land Management Act 1984 (CALM Act).

The proposed amendment can be viewed and submissions made online at: It can also be viewed at DBCA offices at:

  • Head Office, 17 Dick Perry Avenue, Kensington
  • Manjimup Regional Office, Brain Street, Manjimup
  • Frankland District Office, South Coast Highway, Walpole.

The closing date for public submissions is Friday 17 December 2021. The plan will then be reviewed considering all submissions received. A summary of submissions will be made available along with the final amendment to the management plan.
