Happy New Year

The WA Parks Foundation would like to wish all readers a wonderful 2019. The Foundation is thankful to all for the support and help which is assisting the delivery of projects to conserve and improve our parks and to increase our appreciation of the wonderful asset we have in our national parks. We hope that if we all become stewards of our conservation estate we can ensure that we conserve it for future generations.

It is good to reflect on the progress of the Foundation from March 2017 when the Foundation appointed its first staff, General Manager Melanie Wilshin and Board Advisor Strategy and Governance Robin Piesse. Less than two years later we have four Founding Partners, namely Wesfarmers, Chevron Australia, Fortescue Metals Group and Woodside, a much larger number of supporters and members as well as a number of projects underway.
