Lotterywest Support

A substantial funding commitment from Lotterywest will be used to support the ability of the Foundation to deliver projects that encourage more Western Australians to connect with and care for the State’s natural heritage.

The grant of $197,856 will be put towards IT equipment, a Customer Relationship Management System, website enhancement and Project Officer costs.

The grant certificate was presented by the Honourable Stephen Dawson MLC, Minister for Environment to WA Parks Foundation Chair, the Honourable Kerry Sanderson AC and General Manager, Melanie Wilshin at a ceremony with Susan Hunt PSM, CEO of Lotterywest and Healthway on 23 January.

In acknowledging the support of the State Government and Lotterywest, Mrs Sanderson said.

“Maximising opportunities to promote Western Australia’s wonderful network of National Parks and to let the community know about projects and activities is important.

“The Lotterywest grant will help the Foundation to raise awareness of what our parks have to offer and is much appreciated.”
