Nature’s Spring palette
Western Australia’s wildflower season is well underway and although winter rains were late in some areas, good falls indicate we can look forward to an extravagant spectacle in parts of the State.
Carpets of everlastings are blooming along the Coral Coast and Golden Outback regions and progressively over the next few months the season will sweep down through the State.
Tourism Western Australia has eleven suggested trails to get the most out of the season. Its WA Wildflower Guide contains information on where to see the best wildflowers.
The WA Visitor Centre has also developed an online Wildflower Tracker to provide travellers with one easy to use wildflower information and sightings reference. Updated daily, the interactive map shows exactly where the wildflowers are blooming around the State.
