Park Visitor Numbers Up

A recent report by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions shows that more people are visiting our parks. WA national parks and reserves had 20.39 million visits in 2017–18, with a visitor satisfaction level of 92.5 per cent. In the past 10 years, parks have seen an increase of over 8 million visits, recording 12.38 million in 2007-08.

WA Parks Foundation is working with the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions on a number of development projects including the Swan Canning Riverpark River Journeys and the revitalisation of John Forrest National Park.
