D’Entrecasteaux National Park is an important conservation area of wild, pristine beauty; blessed with white beaches, rugged coastal cliffs and towering karri forests.
A narrow strip of land stretching 130km along the Southern coastline between Augusta and Walpole. the Park offers camping, hiking, fishing, swimming, diving and snorkelling. Visitors will discover hexagonal-shaped volcanic rock columns, tall forests, freshwater lakes and super-sized sand dunes – the largest land-locked mobile dune system in the Southern hemisphere.
There are three maps. A detailed map of Point D’Entrecasteaux, the southern and northern sections of the park and shows access roads, trails, park facilities and points of interest.
