BirdLife Western Australia – Walk – Collins Road, Flint

Join Birdlife WA for a walk through the Wandoo woodland, where 61 bird species have been recorded. This area is believed to be the closest breeding site to Perth for the Blue-breasted Fairy-wren. It also boasts an abundance of Rufous Treecreepers, and you can frequently spot Crested Shrike-tits, Restless Flycatchers, and Western Yellow Robins.

Since birds will be breeding in this area, we ask all participants to follow BirdLife guidelines regarding nesting birds.

Please bring a chair and some morning tea for when we compile the bird list. This event is open to BLWA members and their guests. Members of the public are welcome to join the walk and are encouraged to bring binoculars.
