Feature Event: Broome Bird Watching Day

Join knowledgeable BirdLife WA volunteers at dawn for three guided birdwatching walks focused around:

  1. Migratory shorebirds (recently returned on an amazing migration from their Arctic breeding grounds)
  2. Birds of the Roebuck Bay mangroves
  3. A walk along the edge of bush and plains looking for bush birds and raptors.

Be welcomed by a Yawuru elder and learn about the ancient culture of this spectacular land and sea. The walks will each go for about 40 minutes after which you will enjoy a breakfast overlooking the azure blue waters of Roebuck Bay.

This will be a unique experience and certainly a day to remember.

Please note: There are no prior bookings necessary. Just register on the day at the event.

This event is supported by the WA Parks Foundation as part of Spring into Parks.
