Explore: A Doggone Cause at South Fremantle Beach

It’s a doggone good cause – Woof woof! It’s the biggest adoption day in Western Australia. There are animals out there who need your help. If you love a furry critter, then get ready to meet your next best friend. When you support this cause, you also support all of the animals who need your help. You don’t have to adopt an animal on that day to visit the Bark in the Park, or to support this good cause.

Head to the South Freo Dog Beach and meet all of the animals in need. Talk to the dogs and see if you connect with any of them. But don’t worry, there aren’t just dogs, there will be cats, rabbits and other animals available to give them a good home. Save a sweet little animal’s life and feel good doing it.

It’s not just adoptions that will be going on on the day. There will also be competitions and activities for you, your family and your pets. There is a cutest dog competition, as well as best dressed, scruffiest dog, trickiest dog and everyone’s favourite: the Dachshund Dash. If you bring your dogs with you to this event, please ensure that they stay leashed.

There is food and drink trucks available during the day so you will be able to spend the whole day there and bond with the best fluffy creatures on the planet.

This is a free event, and you don’t have to book. Just show up at the South Freo Dog Beach, on Sunday, October 2nd from 9am.
