Explore: Be one of the first visitors to WA Museum Boola Bardip
The redevelopment of the Western Australian Museum has been four years in the making, and it will be well worth the wait.
The Western Australian Museum is the State’s premier cultural organisation, housing WA’s scientific and cultural collection. For over 120 years the Museum has been making the State’s natural and social heritage accessible and engaging through research, exhibitions and public programs.
Today, the Museum has seven public locations across our State – and a Collections and Research Centre that houses more than eight million objects.
The new WA Museum Boola Bardip opens in the Perth Cultural Centre on Saturday 21 November with nine-days of celebration. Register now for your chance to be one of the first visitors!
The free ballot
The ticket ballot will be open from 9am Monday 7 September until 11.59pm on Wednesday 30 September. Tickets will be selected randomly from all registered entrants during this period, so do not worry about having to be the first to register!
Successful entrants will be notified in October by email and given the opportunity to select a preferred date and time to visit. If you are unsuccessful in obtaining a ticket for the opening celebration you can still visit soon, as the new Museum will be open from Monday 30 November with free general entry, as often as you like, for at least the first 18 months.
