Explore: BirdLife Western Australia – Karroun Hill Nature Reserve camp-out

This campout will commence on a Saturday to provide an opportunity for members who are working. Based on a Great Western Woodlands (GWW) survey area, this campout will be a great introduction to the birds of the northern GWW for birders who may not have had opportunity to look around there previously. We will meet on Bimbijy Road at the crossing through the Vermin Proof Fence. Bimbijy Road is a well maintained formed earth road, suitable for 2 WD vehicles. We will be travelling no more than 30Km into the reserve. We will also look in on Billburning reserve, just south of Karroun Hill. Campers will need to be entirely self sufficient, as there are no facilities.
