Explore: Discover the River Journeys project at six nodes along the Swan Canning Riverpark

River Journeys is a project aimed at developing a network of walking trails featuring 25 nodes or rest points located at key sites of environmental, historical and Aboriginal cultural significance. Six nodes have been developed by the Parks and Wildlife Service – at Heathcote Reserve, Adenia Park, Brentwood Living Stream, John Tonkin Reserve, Bicton Baths and Point Walter. To learn more about the Whadjuk Noongar cultural significance of the Heathcote, Point Walter and Bicton Baths sites, download the free “Geotourist” app, which will guide you to a series of audio stories shared by Whadjuk Elders.
