Explore Event: Wilderness Wanderers at Kings Park

Wilderness Wanderers is a space for primary aged children to explore and connect with nature in a fun after school activity.

Wilderness Wanderers is a new program that Educated by Nature are excited to be launching in term 3!

Nature Educators and Nature Playworkers lead the sessions. They are passionate about allowing freedom of play. The structure of the program allows flexibility to suit the interests of children and provides opportunity for self-directed exploration.

The program is focused on connecting with the beauty of the natural world. Each week we will explore the bushland using the principles of nature connection and core routines. Facilitators will work alongside children to deepen their understanding of the surrounding environment through various techniques including sit spots, mapping, storytelling, tracking and discovering field guides.

Please note, children must have turned 6 to attend Wilderness Wanderers.
