Minyirr Buru is traditionally known as a place of healing.

A place of great cultural and ecological significance, the park is both a Yawuru Conservation Park and an Indigenous Protected Area.

An area abundant in plants traditionally used for medicine, food and making tools and weapons, you could say that Minyirr Buru is our own ancient supermarket, hardware store and pharmacy.

The coastal areas of Minyirr Buru are heavily populated with ancient and very rare Dinosaur Tracks. Broome is one of a few places in world where there is a strong link between dinosaur tracks and Indigenous people.

It is a birth place of many Bugarrigarra ngan-ga (Dreamtime stories), some of which will be shared on the tour.
