Explore: Reptile Awareness Workshop
Cold Blooded Creatures need love too. Reptiles can be scary, but there are many reasons that you might want to know more about them. Some people love reptiles, and some people love to learn everything they can about them. Whatever the reason, if you want to get up close and personal with these beautiful reptiles, then this Reptile Awareness Workshop is for you.
There are so many different native reptiles in WA, some of which are harmless friends and some of which are dangerous. It is very important to be able to tell the difference. Especially as the months get warmer, these reptiles may start to get more active so your chance to accidentally disturb one of them is getting more and more likely. In this workshop, you can find out more about the creatures and more about the ones who live in your local area. They will tell you what to do if and when you get up close with one and how to identify which ones are harmless and which are not.
If you aren’t comfortable around reptiles, that isn’t a problem. This is the sort of workshop that you can attend to get over your fears when you feel ready. Your fears can be valid, but there are so many reasons to want to be more comfortable around these animals too. If you find one in your garden or home, then it would be better to at least be able to be in the vicinity of them.
There will be the opportunity to interact and touch some of these animals. If you want to, that is. If you don’t want to, then you won’t be forced. This is suitable for all ages, not just children. Everyone is welcome.
For just $5, you are welcome to join WA Wildlife and learn everything there is to know. Head to this workshop on the 21st of September, between 6 and 7 pm.
