These activities offer hands-on, tactile experiences where children can explore the beauty of natural materials. Flag making involves manipulating natural elements to create unique flags, while stick whittling and the traditional art of Hapa Zome reveal the hidden beauty of nature. Cubby building fosters a sense of identity and connection, allowing participants to construct, decorate, and enjoy their creations.

Make a day of it and take advantage of Yanchep National Park’s diverse offerings, including nine walking trails, navigating the tuart trees at Tree Tops Adventure, visiting the koalas, or playing a round of golf in a peaceful bushland setting.

For meals and refreshments, visit the historic Yanchep Inn or Chocolate Drops Tearooms, or bring along a picnic. Extend your stay by booking a night at the Yanchep Inn or camping on the Henry White Oval.

Presented by Spring into Parks, an initiative of the WA Parks Foundation, with support from Lotterywest.
