Feature Event: Herdsman Bird Walk
Join us for a walk around picturesque Herdsman Lake guided by experts from Birdlife Australia. Immerse yourself in the world of birdwatching and meet like-minded people in the local community.

Cost: FREE for WAGL Friends and Birdlife Australia members; $10 for general public. All funds raised go to WAGL to support our environmental educational programs and to keep the centre running.
What’s included: Presentation on Herdsman Lake birdlife, bird watching techniques and how to use binoculars effectively. Guided bird walk around the picturesque Herdsman Lake where you are guaranteed to see a variety of birdlife. Light refreshments provided and entry to the Discovery Centre during the event is included. Binoculars will be provided for participants who don’t BYO.
What to bring: Water bottle, hat, suitable clothing for weather conditions (also a good idea not to wear anything bright), binoculars or spotting scope if you have one.
