Feature Event: Opera in the Valley of the Giants
The West Australian Opera will return to the iconic Valley of the Giants this November after its highly-acclaimed performances there over the last three years.
Immerse yourself under towering tingle trees, experience goosebumps from hearing the powerful voices of West Australian Opera artists and sing along to show-stopping arias in a concert of operatic hits.
The program will include a selection of the operatic repertoire, most of which will be well-known to opera lovers and newcomers to this captivating art form may be surprised at just how much music they recognise! West Australian Opera is proud to feature four of its notable artists including soprano Emma Matthews, mezzo soprano Caitlin Cassidy, tenor Paul O’Neill and baritone James Clayton accompanied on piano by the outstanding Tommaso Pollio.
This event is supported by Wesfarmers Arts, The Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, Minderoo Foundation and the Great Southern Development Commission. It is also supported this year by the WA Parks Foundation as part of Spring into Parks.
