Thanks to DBCA’s retiring Director General
In delivering its programs and initiatives, the WA Parks Foundation works closely with the Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Attractions.
We take this opportunity to thank retiring Director General, Mark Webb PSM, for his support over the past six years.
“Conservation of national parks and encouraging increased visitation are areas of joint work with DBCA,” said the Foundation’s Chair, the Hon Kerry Sanderson AC CVO.
“Revitalisation of John Forrest National Park to improve the visitor experience is an example of projects on which we have worked together. Another is the Smartreka mapping initiative to make it easier for people to navigate our national parks.
“On behalf of the WA Parks Foundation Board and members, I extend thanks and best wishes to Mark on his retirement.”
