Tourism Council WA support appreciated

The Tourism Council WA has written to thank the WA Parks Foundation for its commitment to enriching and protecting Western Australia’s parks and has donated a much appreciated $3000 in support of the Foundation’s work.

Tourism Council WA Chief Executive Officer, Evan Hall said the Council recognised the ongoing work of the Foundation and its mission to connect people to parks through collaboration and delivery.

In acknowledgement of the donation and support, WA Parks Foundation Chair, Kerry Sanderson said the Foundation valued its links with the WA Tourism Council.

“Our two organisations have shared goals in promoting Western Australia’s wonderful natural assets and encouraging visitors to explore, experience and enjoy the beauty of our great outdoors.

“Nature-based tourism is a fast-growing sector of the tourism industry in Australia and we look forward to working with the Tourism Council WA and its members as opportunities arise”, Kerry said.

TCWA is the peak body representing tourism businesses, industries and regions in Western Australia.  The Council promotes the value of tourism, facilitates sustainable tourism development and advocates industry policy on behalf of members.
