Photo competition winners announced
The 2025 Memorable Moments in Nature photo competition conducted by the WA Parks Foundation in association with Spring into Parks, with excellent prizes to be won, attracted over 980 entries.
As in previous years, the high quality of many entries received made judging a challenge.
1st Prize: Ultimate Park Pack valued at $1660+ was awarded to Richard Bolto for ‘Sunrise on the King George River’, in the Kimberley. This includes a Heyscape 2-night cabin accommodation voucher (worth $1050), Matagarup Zip+Climb voucher for two (worth $238), Camera Electronic voucher (worth $200), WA Parks Foundation individual membership, and an annual All Parks pass (worth $180).

2nd Prize: $600+ Connect with Nature Pack went to Julie Guglielmana for the entry entitled ‘Afternoon Snack’, Capel River. The prize includes a RAC Parks & Resorts Accommodation Voucher (worth $300), Two Feet and a Heartbeat Fremantle – Convicts, Culture & Street Art Tour voucher for two (worth $130), WA Parks Foundation individual membership, and Annual All Park pass (worth $180).
The three runners up are Rita Atkinson for ‘Shall we dance?’ at Coondanup Foreshore Reserve; Keeley Ward for ‘Making a Break for It!’ at Ningaloo Marine Park; and Lex Porebski, ‘Torndirrup Sunrise at Salmon Holes’, taken at Torndirrup National Park.
Each of the runners up receive a Spring into Parks Pack valued at $370 and includes a Mindful in Nature Forest Bathing Experience at Kings Park or Margaret River (worth $190), WA Parks Foundation individual membership and Annual All Parks Pass for free access to our national parks (worth $180).
