Event: Southern Flora Tall Timbers Full-Day Tour

The Tall Timbers Tour heads to Manjimup and Pemberton to take in the historic King Jarrah Tree and Gloucester National Park to experience these magnificent tall forests and their colourful understorey at their finest. Enjoy the scenic Cascades waterfall before heading to the D’Entrecasteaux National Park with a short climb up Mt Chudalup with outstanding views to the Southern Ocean. Then explore the diverse flora of the surrounding wet heath plains out to Pt D’Entrecasteaux. Red-winged Fairy-wren, Red-eared Firetail, White- breasted Robin, Purple-crowned Lorikeets, Red-tailed Black Cockatoo and Western Rosella are residents in these tall forests. The full-day tour must be booked at least one day in advance. Southern Flora full-day and half-day tours are also available to experience the wildflowers and birds of the jarrah and marri forest, karri forest and wandoo woodland in national parks and reserves surrounding Bridgetown.
