Explore: A Nature Play Morning in Cottesloe

Organized by Perth NRM, the Town of Cottesloe, and other partners, this event will take place at the Cottesloe Nature Discovery Space. Open to the public, it is accessible to anyone on or off Facebook.

With over 20 years of experience, Cath is dedicated to highlighting the significant benefits of nature play for children’s development, health, and wellbeing. This event is designed to foster a connection to the natural world through a variety of interactive, nature-based activities. Participants will also receive ReWild resources to help create wildlife-friendly gardens at home.

Tickets: $5 (+ booking fee) per child. Accompanying adults attend for free. Tickets are limited, so be sure to book in advance to secure your spot! Book tickets here.

What to Bring: Enclosed shoes, sun/rain protection, a water bottle, imagination, and a sense of adventure.

Please note: A water refill station and fruit will be available. The nearest public toilet is 2km north along Marine Parade, across from Forrest Street.

Due to the outdoor nature of the event, parents or guardians must accompany children aged 16 and younger. Adults are encouraged to join in the activities. The event welcomes participants of all ages.

This event is funded through Perth NRM’s ‘Coastal Capacity Building 2024’ grant from Coastwest, the Australian Government Natural Heritage Trust (#NaturalHeritageTrust), with support from Cottesloe Coastcare and the Town of Cottesloe.
