Explore: BirdLife Western Australia – Walk – Yanchep National Park

Join BirdLife WA for a half-day excursion to Yanchep National Park! If you have a WA Annual All Parks Pass, please bring it along. For those without a pass, the entry fee is $17 per vehicle or $10 for seniors. After entering the park, take a left at the roundabout to find a large parking area. The guide will be near the covered barbecue area adjacent to the toilet block.

Yanchep National Park is part of the Northern Swan Coastal Plain Important Bird Area (IBA), known for its diverse bush birds and waterbirds, including Carnaby’s Black-Cockatoo.

Please bring a chair and some morning tea for when we compile the bird list. This event is open to BLWA members and their guests. The public is also welcome to join; please remember to bring binoculars!
