Explore: Karlkula Bushland Park and enjoy a morning tea!
As part of Spring into Parks 2022, Kalgoorlie-Boulder Urban Landcare Group have organised a wonderful walk through Karlkurla Bushland Park followed by morning tea at the KBULG Community Nursery.
The park comprises 200 hectares of natural regrowth bushland along with over 2,000 trees and shrubs planted by community volunteers two decades ago in 2000.
‘Karlkurla’ (pronounced gull-gurl-la), is the local Aboriginal word for the Silky Pear, one of the many native bushes, trees and small plants that can now be enjoyed while strolling along the park’s walking trail.
Come and join the group for this beautiful bushland walk at 9.15 am for 9.30 am start and then enjoy the hospitality at the KBULG Community Nursery and Eco & Cultural Education Centre, a space for sharing and conveying conservation and sustainable living.
RSVP to admin@kbulg.org.au for catering purposes.
