Explore: Reynoldson Reserve Wildflower Festival 2023 Wongan Hills

Every year, Wongan Hills Tourism hosts one of the best blooming events of the year. This year, locals and visitors can celebrate Reynoldson Reserve’s spectacular display in sheer festival style. Starting with a Sundowner on the 3 November at the Station, one can enjoy a pre-ordered gourmet meal while listening to Georgie Sadler and Ari Davis. Of course, this is only the start of a radiant weekend.

Saturday boasts a host of activities starting with a big breakfast at the visitor centre from 7:30 am to 8:30 am. From past experiences, there is a fee for the breakfast, however, it beats making it yourself.

Bus tours to the Reynoldson Reserve start from 9:30 am. From personal experience, Reynoldson Reserve can get very hot in the late afternoon and therefore, early tour times may be more comfortable.

Apart from walking nature’s ‘hallway’ lined with vibrant Verticordia, there will be a range of activities at Wongan Hills. These include the Apex Market Stalls, School Art Display, Wildflower Display, Art Exhibition, Vintage Cars & Tractors and entertainment for kids.

To end the day of festivity, one can enjoy gazing at the stars without light pollution. The Astronomy Night Activity is planned from 7 pm, and I am sure there will be a host of opportunities for astrophotography.
