Explore: The Brice Wells Bird Walk in Jorgensen Park

Join BirdLife WA and the City of Kalamunda to learn more about our awesome local birds and how to spot them in the beautiful surrounds of Jorgensen Park.

Jorgensen Park was the site of the original Kalamunda Golf Club, which moved to Forrestfield in 1972. In some places the walk follows the old fairways, and in part incorporates some of the Bibbulmun Track. A moderately easy, pleasant loop walk.

Bring a drink bottle, wear sturdy shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.

Binoculars and guides provided.

Proudly supported by the City of Kalamunda, this walk is led by Brendan Kinsela, in memorium of Brice Wells (who was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia for services to conservation, particularly ornithology on Australia Day 2016).
