Explore: Wander on the Wiilman and Share Platter
Participants are invited to indulge in a gentle 7.4km bushwalk along the Collie end of the Wiilman Bilya Trail, reconnecting with nature and unwinding.
The Wiilman Bilya Trail is named after the Wiilman people, the Traditional Owners of the lands and waters through which the trail passes, and ‘bilya,’ the Noongar word for river. The trail features a mix of single-track forest paths and minor vehicle tracks. The hike will commence on the Wiilman Bilya Trail, leading to the memorable Kaniyang Wiilman Suspension Bridge, beautifully painted by the talented artist Natalie Veal. Participants will enjoy the diversity of the forest, witnessing magnificent Yarri (blackbutt), Marri, and Jarrah trees. After the walk, they will be treated to a delicious share platter at The Crown Hotel in Collie.
With fuel in their bellies and energy levels restored, participants will feel like they are walking on a dream as they are transported back to the Collie Visitor Centre, where they can continue their adventures in Collie.
