Feature Event: Morning Birdwalk at Herdsman Park Discovery Centre
Join us for a walk around parts of picturesque Herdsman Lake guided by experts from Birdlife Australia, plus receive complimentary morning tea!

What’s included: Presentation on Herdsman Lake birdlife, bird watching techniques and how to use binoculars effectively. Guided birdwalk around the picturesque Herdsman Lake where you are guaranteed to see a variety of birdlife. Also included is a catered brunch, tea and coffee making facilities and free entry to the Discovery Centre during the event. Barista coffee also available to purchase from our coffee window Twitchers. Binoculars will be provided for participants who don’t own a pair.
What to bring: Water bottle, hat, suitable clothing for weather conditions (recommended not to wear anything bright), binoculars or spotting scope if you have one.

The Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre is operated by WA Gould League, a local not-for-profit organisation. All proceeds contribute to ongoing environmental education for all.
