Come and celebrate Spring into Parks by adding your unique design to a earth sculpture facilitated by an artist from AWESOME Arts between 10am – 12pm on Saturday 21 October.

More information here.

In addition, make sure you explore the Spring into Park exhibit on display for the month of October which is showcasing the special quilt created by the WA Quilters Association. This quilt banner was inspired by the beauty and uniqueness of Western Australia’s national parks and reserves. It was made by members of the West Australian Quilters Association and gifted to the WA Parks Foundation for use at the Spring into Parks program of events. Thirty-nine quilters contributed to the banner, which is both machine and hand-sewn and made up of 80 individual 8-inch mini quilts depicting letters and Western Australian fauna, flora and geological features.

If you are unable to make these activities, be sure to explore over 200 events during Spring into Parks.

Discover the beauty and wonder of WA’s spectacular natural areas and enjoy the health benefits that come from spending time in nature.

Spring into Parks is a WA Parks Foundation initiative and supported by Lotterywest.
