Discover Kings Park Favourites

Embark on a nature treasure hunt and see if you can find all eight Kings Park Favourites—a selection of native plants chosen by Kings Park horticulturists for their spectacular displays and resilience. Hidden within Rio Tinto Naturescape, these plants are waiting to be discovered. Once you’ve found them, take your adventure further by heading out on the Kings Park Favourites Trail, a scenic 2km stroll around the Botanic Garden. Along the way, you’ll encounter magnificent specimens of each Favourite. Don’t forget to collect your gumnut at the entrance to vote for your top Kings Park Favourite!

Get Creative with Loose Parts Bush Camp

Boorna Waanginy: Future Weaving Drop-in Activity

Join the Boorna Waanginy: Future Weaving drop-in activity to learn about the rich biodiversity of our environment and discover ways to care for it. Participants will have the chance to contribute to a large-scale light installation, Boorna Waanginy: The Tree’s Speak, which will be featured during Perth Festival’s EverNow Festival. Weave your own beautiful nest using natural materials, and watch as it becomes part of a stunning collaborative artwork.

Mini Gardens for Rock Pets
