Lightscape returning to Kings Park
Western Australians will have another opportunity to experience global sensation Lightscape when it returns to Kings Park mid-year in a reimagined form.
“Roots” will be the theme of the 2024 edition presented in June and July, exploring the mysteries of the world beneath Kings Park while also celebrating the area’s Noongar culture, history, heritage, and storytelling.
Fans of last year’s event will also be pleased to see the return of Winter Cathedral, a crowd favourite featuring a spectacular array of more than 100,000 lights.
Lightscape is a partnership between the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority and Sony, powered by the City of Perth with support from Roy Hill. Its sell-out success in 2023 funded important park upgrades including work to improve year-round accessibility of the Western Australian Botanic Garden for visitors of all abilities.
