Significant upgrades expected to begin this year are designed to accommodate increasing visitation to the park’s most popular features, The Gap and Natural Bridge – wonders carved by the pounding waves of the Southern Ocean.

The work as part of the State Government’s Torndirrup National Park improvement project will provide increased parking, redevelopment of roads for smoother, safer access between sites; and installation of toilets for The Gap’s’ picnic area.

About 430,000 people visit Torndirrup National Park every year. As well as its fantastic rock formations, this national park is noted for the diversity of its flora and fauna and its trails are popular with hikers.
