Castaways sculptural exhibition

Experience the City of Rockingham’s iconic Castaways Sculpture Awards as it returns to the Rockingham Foreshore from 24 October to 1 November 2026.

Named after the discarded items found on local beaches, Castaways is an annual sculptural exhibition that transforms the Rockingham Foreshore into a vibrant outdoor gallery, featuring innovative artworks created from recycled and repurposed materials.

Featuring three distinct exhibitions – including the Main Exhibition, the Maquette and Small Sculpture Exhibition, and the Schools Exhibition – Castaways showcases the creativity and talent of Western Australian artists.

This free event offers visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in free Tactile Tours and Artist Talks throughout the exhibition.
