Festival time in our apple capital
Donnybrook’s Apple Festival (3-4 April) has a harvest and arts theme.
It’s an excellent opportunity to experience all that the region has to offer, from sampling local produce and learning about regenerative farming practices to discovering Donnybrook’s creative talent via the inaugural open studios artisan trail.
Fashion shows, vintage car and modern vehicle displays, log chops and a free family concert are also on the program and there’ll be lots of activities for kids, including a chance to meet farm animals.
Visitors to the Donnybrook Apple Festival may also want to take the opportunity to experience some of the other attractions of the region, such as the Glen Mervin Dam, the Munda Biddi trail and scenic drives.
