Wildflowers are starting to bud in the northern regions of WA’s Golden Outback and Coral Coast, thanks to recent heavy rainfall.

Species such as Mulla Mulla and Senna are beginning to burst into colour. With more than 12,000 species, 60 per cent of which are found nowhere else in the world, the flowers will colour the landscapes from coast to forest and city to outback from now until November.

One of the best ways to experience and discover WA’s wildflowers is on a guided wildflower tour, or by attending a wildflower-themed event. The WA Visitor Centre also provides a compiled list of information on the wildflower season, including where to find wildflowers in bloom.
