Kimberley calling – travel discounts offered

Western Australia’s Kimberley is home to many vast, remote, and utterly spectacular national parks. Limestone caves, plunging gorges, one of the world’s largest meteorite craters and some of the finest examples of Aboriginal rock art are among the attractions.

Discounted travel, accommodation and airfares are now available for visitors to this region in 2024, as part of the State Government’s support for local tourism businesses in their recovery from last year’s weather events.

The ‘Kimberley Season Pass’ offers a range of consumer travel incentives including 50 per cent off Kimberley tours and experiences (when booked through the Broome and Kununurra Visitor’s Centre), along with $100 off stays at Kimberley caravan and holiday parks through a partnership with the Caravan Industry Association of WA.

The Pass also includes discounted airfares with Nexus Airlines through a ‘Fly a Friend for Free’ promotion, which offers 50 per cent off flights when purchasing two airfares. Discounted airfares into Broome and Kununurra are also available with Airnorth.

The ‘Kimberley Season Pass’ is another step towards full recovery and is being promoted through a targeted campaign within Western Australia and interstate, highlighting the region’s unique tourism experiences.
