Off the beaten track

For keen, experienced and fit hikers, the Bald Head Trail in the Torndirrup National Park is one of many great reasons to visit the Albany region.
This ruggedly spectacular 12.5km hike offers awe inspiring views of the Southern Ocean and King George Sound.
The challenging but rewarding trail takes walkers along the ridge line of Flinders Peninsula. It comprises a combination of boardwalks, limestone paths, sandy walkways and hard granite sections and takes 6 to 8 hours to complete.
You could, of course, limit the adventure to a section!
