Praise for new nature playground

Ross & Wendy Dowling

Parks Ambassador Professor Ross Dowling and his wife Wendy spent time recently with one of their granddaughters at the John Forrest National Park’s new nature playground.

“We had a wonderful time exploring this new addition,” Ross said.

“It made us really good to feel that we were part of the contribution of this great organisation.”

This imaginative playground has been developed through a partnership between the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions, the WA Parks Foundation and Founding partner, Chevron Australia.

Located in the main picnic area amongst shady trees beside a flowing creek, the play space offers a wonderful opportunity for kids to get muddy, create, climb, splash and burn off some energy.

A giant bobtail lizard is a fun addition.
