Discover the natural beauty of Ambergate Reserve, a 75-hectare conservation area protecting one of the last remaining examples of the southern Swan Coastal Plain’s native shrubland and woodland. Home to diverse flora and fauna, the reserve supports several rare and threatened species, including the Southern Brown Bandicoot (Quenda) and rare Verticordia feather flowers. More than 80% of the reserve comprises threatened ecological communities, making it an important biodiversity hotspot. Follow the walking trails through wetlands, woodlands and wildflower habitats, beginning at the information shelter in the central car park.
