Feature Event: Gather and Grow Community Day

Bring the family along for a fun and hands-on Community Garden Picnic Day, where everyone can come together to plant, grow, learn and share the joys of community gardening.

Guided by a trained permaculture guide, this welcoming community activation for all ages will offer practical activities and plenty of opportunities to get involved in the garden. We’ll also be joined by Rick from the local native plant nursery, who will share his knowledge, tips and practical experience with native plants and sustainable gardening.

After getting your hands in the soil, relax and enjoy morning tea with the community. You’ll also have the opportunity to take something home with you. Choose from a native plant, seeds or fresh produce to continue your growing journey at home.

There will be plenty more activities happening throughout the day, making this a great opportunity to connect with neighbours, meet other families, learn something new and celebrate the garden together.
