Feature Event: Spring into Yanchep National Park Hut Building

Celebrate Spring and our amazing parks with a fun-filled visit to Yanchep National Park!

Families, it’s time to put your creative skills to use by working together using sticks, fabrics, ropes and pegs for our two-hour Hut Building event. Building shelters connects people with their sense of identity and place, but also with concepts of history and science. Learning simple knot tying skills and building in teams, participants explore basic tents from the early pioneers of Australia and engage in understanding of physics to make their own strong structure. Spots are limited, so book your spot now.
