Once Known

Once Known is a free art exhibition that showcases reproductions of fragile, culturally significant artworks created by Aboriginal children who were forcibly removed from their families and detained at the Carrolup Native Settlement in the 1940s.

Located at Curtin University’s exhibition space at 139 St Georges Terrace in the Perth CBD, this is a stirring collection of artworks that tell a story that reaches back more than 80 years. Take some time to see the artworks and discover the stories behind them.

The exhibition runs through till October 15 in Perth, before heading south to Albany. More details here.
