An ancient landscape blessed with stunning sunsets and a dark night sky full of stars. This is the Pinnacles Desert, now an internationally renowned stargazing destination. This small group tour includes the use of Professional Astronomy Equipment to help you get the most out of your stargazing experience. We have a two-metre tall 16-inch Dobsonian and a 10-inch Dobsonian as well as astro binoculars for your use so that you can see the planets and our moon in great detail. The tour runs all year round, the night sky changes throughout the seasons and although it is a bit colder, autumn, winter and spring are some of the best times of the year to see the Milky Way in the Southern Hemisphere. While you wait for the stars and planets to appear, enjoy a traditional Australian Barbeque Dinner with a glass of Australian wine as you watch the sun set over the Indian Ocean. Tours run daily.
