Pearls and Plates

Preparations are well underway for the first food and music festival on the Houtman Abrolhos off Western Australia’s Coral Coast.

Pearls and Plates will be held on the weekend of the 17th and 18th April 2021, on Post Office island in the archipelago’s southern group.

Two long table lunches will be served overlooking the lagoon on the southern point of Post Office Island. Guests can look forward to experiencing the culinary flair of celebrity chef Anna Gare and award-winning chef Guy Jeffreys with a menu featuring local seafood delicacies paired with world class Margaret River wines.

TILLY KAY and guests will entertain with a soulful soundscape and award- winning WA photographer, Nic Duncan, will present her Abrolhos photographic exhibition.

Another highlight for festival guests will be a visit to the Liddon Pearls gallery and pearl farm.

The Houtman Abrolhos archipelago of 192 islands is recognised as a place of exceptional historic and natural values and was declared a national park in July 2019.
