Registrations invited for Pilbara conference on regional tourism
Karratha is the host city for this year’s WA Regional Tourism Conference to be held from 16-18 September.
This three-day event provides an excellent opportunity to network and to hear from industry-leading speakers on critical industry issues and innovative ideas.
It is presented jointly by Tourism Council WA, Visitor Centres WA, Caravan Industry Association WA, FACET and WAITOC, and is supported by Tourism Western Australia and the City of Karratha.
To facilitate travel to the conference, the City of Karratha has made provision for some travel assistance for delegates travelling from outside the Pilbara region. This funding is limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
To participate in the workshops and tours program included as part of the conference, participants can choose from a Roebourne and Cossack half day tour, learn about tourism photography or register for a workshop on reaching customers.
A Member Rate for attendance at the conference is available to current members of Tourism Council WA, Caravan Industry Association WA, Visitor Centres WA and WAITOC or those who were a financial member of FACET before 31 May 2019.
