Welcoming new board members
The WA Parks Foundation is thrilled to welcome two new Board Directors in Ainslie de Vos and Dale Tilbrook.
Ainslie brings extensive knowledge in corporate communication and community relations to this role, having worked in the private and public sectors. She was Manager External Affairs at Fremantle Ports for over 20 years and was previously Public Relations Manager at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth. She has an earlier background in radio and television journalism. Ainslie continues to provide volunteer communications support to the WA Parks Foundation and the Perron Institute.
Dale has a wealth of experience in buying, merchandising and marketing in department store groups in the UK and Australia, having opened her first Aboriginal gallery and gift shop with her brother Lyall Tilbrook in the Swan Valley in 1998. Dale is passionate about sharing Aboriginal culture through the Maalinup Aboriginal Gallery offering Bushtucker, authentic Aboriginal art and amazing hand painted giftware. She also works extensively with students through school incursions, education programmes and corporate groups through cultural awareness training.
With their shared passion for WA national parks and reserves, the WA Parks Foundation is excited to have both Ainslie and Dale’s diverse skill sets and enthusiasm for the positive future of our natural environment.
